Why did we change our name to Fresherized Foods from AvoMex? Because our vision grew beyond what AvoMex means and we wanted to acknowledge the process that drives our success. But having a new name doesn't change what we believe in - delivering the freshest and highest quality products. That's been the case since the late 1980's. That's when Don Bowden, the chairman and founder of Fresherized Foods, wanted to find a better, way to make fresher, better tasting guacamole for his Mexican restaurants. He learned about the Fresherized process, which uses cutting edge water pressure technology to preserve the avocado. He figured out how to make it work for guacamole and turned our Wholly Guacamole into the best-selling brand in the U.S. It's also one of the best-selling cold dips in the country. And we're still family-owned after 25 years. Our corporate name may have changed, but some things stay the same, like our proven process. Fresherization allows us to retain the same great taste, texture and natural vitamins while ensuring the highest level of food safety. As the industry leader, we are the world's largest user of this high pressure process. We use Fresherization to produce not just the Wholly Guacamole and Simply Avo lines of guacamole and avocado products, but also our complete line of avocado products for the food service industry. Each item is made with the same principles that the Don of Guacamole devised 25 years ago. We’re dedicated to providing the best product possible, using real Hass avocados and natural ingredients that don't include preservatives, artificial flavors or heat treatments. Our goal?
